Confessions of a feline #13
Well... our human got bored with the fly swatter game Mr. Slinkybutt made up. So, he created another game for her. It's called Door Hockey with a bottle cap.
He passes it under the bathroom door to her and she sends it back.
I got to try it with her when she went in to brush her teeth. I bet she didn't even know it was me! hehehe

Attractions in Denver, CO
Denver, Colorado and some of the immediately surrounding areas are chock full of things to see and do. This article gives a load of great things to do. Sorry about the link. This site that I write for stipulates a one year commitment of all articles written. So... a link will have to do for now. Thanks for stopping by!

Confessions of a baby doll feline #9
Hi, Miss Kitty Zoom-Zoom here again. Mamma brought home a new toy today. I wasn't impressed, though. Mr. Lee Slinkybutt seems to like it.
It's a red laser light thingy. Mr. Lee chases it all over the place. Our humans laugh hysterically at him. Although... I think he does all the funny things because he wants them to laugh. He laughs too, when they're not looking.

My RWOOOOOMMM!
Mr Slinkybutt and me had great fun while my human was away... and she didn't even see our mess until the next day... Oh, man! she screeched louder than I've ever heard! She grabbed him first. Not sure what she did to him at first, but it was probably what she did to me.
When she came for me, I tried to run. THAT just made her more angry. Her face was all red and distorted. I was looking for the frying pan when she got me. (There wasn't one. I just wanted to make sure.) She took me in there to MY rwoom, pointed and screeched repeatedly before letting me go.
Then she left the house for a while. When she came back, the other human closed off those rooms with doors! MY RWOOOOMMM!
Sob sob. I hid for a while just to show her I was still the one in control. But, later I had to come out and make up to her. I gave her that pitiful I'm sorry look with the big saucer eyes. She's such a sucker!

Confessions of a feline baby doll #7
"Meeeeowww!" "Meeeeooowwww?" I mewed for a long time. It was dark and there were booming sounds and flashes of light outside. I was scared! Finally, that string of funny sounding words came tumbling out of the darkness from somewhere. It sounded like a growl. But, I'd know that sound anywhere.
"Phew!" I thought I had lost my human!

My human brought home a piece of carpet that hangs from the door knob with a feather at the top. That was interesting for all of 2 seconds. I heard her tell the other human that it was on clearance. I wonder what that means???
My partner in crime is learning how to play that track game. But, doesn't seem to get it because he lies across the whole thing while playing. I like to see it roll all the way around and figuring out when to swat it to keep it going.

Confessions of a baby doll feline #4
My human was fiddling with some itty-bitty round things today. I slinked past her chair and made a smell where she couldn't see me. This is MYWROOM! I hoped she would leave. A string of funny sounding words came screeching out of her mouth instead.

Confessions of a feline baby doll #3
After petting my human with head butts today, I rolled over onto my back for a tummy rub. But, she never seems to get the right spot. And whenever I push her paw to the right spot, she stops rubbing!
I caught a mouse for Mr. Lee Slinkybutt so that he could get praises. I have to kill them first, though, because he's afraid of getting bit by one.
I stole some ice cream wrappers and strung them in a line down the hall. My other human got blamed for it... HAHAHAHA!

Confessions of a feline baby doll #1
My name is Miss Kitty Zoom-Zoom. I'm a Baby Doll cat. (Sort of...) My human rescued me from a shelter last year. I love to pee on any plastic grocery bag I see. I become a streak of lighting when Mr. Lee Slinkybutt is around. He's an Assyrian type (but still a moggie) of grey tabby. I am like Linus from the Peanut's comic strip. Except that with me, its fur instead of dirt that floats around me like a halo (because I am such an angel, of course!). My other favorite activities are head butting, spreading fur all over my human's clothes, and sensuously kneading my blanky.

How to make money on Helium
Helium dot com is a good place to make a little extra money writing what you want (within reason), when you want. It’s a revenue sharing site that is also a good training tool for writers. This is an international company and website. Publishers also look to Helium as a source for articles to purchase.
The best part is that articles continue to earn money during the entire time they and the writer is active (years). There are a number of options for earning money on this site. Quality articles (rewriting is possible to improve scores), building a volume of articles, contests, assignments, rating other people’s articles and using the site to search for information are key elements to earning on this site. It also doesn’t hurt to click on an advertisement every once in a while.
Keeping a daily routine of rating, revising, and writing will help one build an income stream. Contests, assignments, first one to write on a title and promoting one’s articles are also important.
Rating other people’s articles involves (usually) reading no more than 3 on the same title. Once each set of two are read, one clicks on a button that indicates which is like better. There are 10 skips allowed per session or day. Rating other people’s articles is also a good way to find something to write about.
Consistent rating accumulates and is measured by stars. The more stars a person maintains throughout a month, the more likely there will be a bonus. This has changed a time or two and I am not current on how many stars it takes to get a bonus or how much it is.
There are two ways to revise articles. One is called Leapfrog. This is available for a time after each article is written. The other (found under the link for My Account) one is called Leap Me. These are articles the site has selected for the writer to revise.
Writing to the contests and assignments are good because of upfront payments and for article idea generation. Getting to be the first one to write for an assignment topic can earn a bonus. Suggesting a title that is accepted can also generate extra cash.
In writing articles, there are some things to keep in mind. There are no titles or names in the body of text, one or two hyperlinks, and at least 400 words for most non-fiction articles. Poetry is usually a maximum of 12 lines. All capital words are discouraged. And one or two hyperlinks is beneficial.
It is the writer’s responsibility to promote their own articles to increase traffic and earnings. Some of the ways to do that include posting a link on social networks like Facebook and blogs. Doing a Google search for your article or name on a library computer and then leaving it up for the next person to find is a possible route. If one mentions a company who also has a facebook account, one might post a link with comment on that company’s page.
I’ve been on this site since 2007. While there have been changes and different owners, they have maintained a consistent and reliable payout commitment. Payouts are at $25 twice a month. The money is sent to one’s paypal account.
